The Bisk CPE Network Accounting & Auditing Report is a monthly subscription service designed for the firm in mind to help keep everyone informed about the latest news and developments in accounting and auditing and meet mandatory CPE requirements.

Each month, the CPE Network Accounting & Auditing Report will analyze, simplify and explain the latest laws, pronouncements and industry developments—delivered on DVD or via the Internet with streamed audio & video.

This monthly training program is organized in two or three parts (Accounting Practice, Auditing Practice, and Small Business Practice). Each part discusses hot topics in the subject area and provides supplemental training materials to further enhance the comprehension of the material. Also included in the training materials are discussion problems and solutions to help spur group discussions. While the program is designed for firm-wide training, the program can be used individually by individual staff members and so we've also included a final quizzer that CPAs can complete and submit for self-study credit. Firm training directors can also use the final quizzer as a testing tool at the end of the group discussions if desired.

Each monthly issue includes a VHS tape or DVD of the training presentation, a written transcript organized with executive summaries, learning objectives, and discussion problems (as noted above).

Jennifer F. Louis, CPA, is President of Training Services at Emergent Solutions Group, LLC. She has more than 17 years of experience in designing and instructing high-quality training programs. Most recently, Ms. Louis was executive vice-president and director of training services at AuditWatch Inc., a premier training and consulting firm serving the auditing profession. She graduated summa cum laude from Marymount University with a BBA in accounting. Ms. Louis is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the American Society for Training & Development, and is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

J. Russell Madray, CPA, CIA, CMA, CFM, is president of The Madray Group, which specializes in knowledge transfer. Mr. Madray has more than 15 years of professional experience, including 10 years in public practice. He is a past member of the AICPA Accounting and Review Services Committee and a current member of the Board of Directors of the SC Association of CPAs. Mr. Madray is the author of numerous publications and articles on accounting and auditing topics.

Tom Ratcliffe, PhD, CPA (TX), is the Director of Accounting and Auditing at Wilson Price. He is the Director Emeritus of the School of Accountancy at Troy University in Troy, Alabama. Dr. Ratcliffe teaches financial accounting courses as well as CPE courses for accountants in public accounting and industry. He is currently a member of the Auditing Standards Board, the former chair of the Accounting and Review Services Committee and a former member of PCFRC. Dr. Ratcliffe also writes the monthly audio program, Bisk Audio Accounting and Auditing Report, published by Bisk Education.
